One of the most anticipated games in history hit store shelves this week and was almost instantly sold out by the thousands of fans that waited in line Tuesday morning. 24 plus hours later, Microsoft is a little richer and gamers around the world rejoice for Halo 3. Halo 2, released in 2004, was a gigantic success in every sense of the word which pretty much solidified the already popular Xbox platform. Many developers tried and failed to duplicate what Bungie created in the Halo first-person-shooter series and now the nail is in the coffin with Halo 3. I’m sure all the hard core Halo geeks out there have already played and completed the third release of Halo in a matter of 2 days… but for those of you thinking of getting into the mix there are a few video reviews you should check out while you wait for Halo 3 stock to be replenished.
