Guitar Hero is one of those gaming phenomenons that had rock wannabes wrapped up since day one. Call it what you will, but the concept of being on stage ripping out the best rock songs of the ages is something most of us have dreamed of at one point or another. Granted, playing your living room strapped with a plastic toy guitar is a far cry from taking the stage at a sold out concert in New York, but I can guarantee you will be hooked on Guitar Hero within the first few licks. Thanks to a crazy Sunday release, you can pick up the latest version of Guitar Hero right now instead of waiting until Tuesday… that is if you can find one in stock. Guitar Hero III (now developed by Neversoft) adds the best lineup yet of new tunes including singles from Metallica, The Rolling Stones, Slayer, Iron Maiden and Aerosmith just to name a few.
