This week we have 7 great new movie trailers for your viewing pleasure. Starting off the list this week is a movie called “Slipstream” written, directed by and starring A. Hopkins. “Awake“, starring Jessica Alba (need I say more) is a psych thriller that tells the story of a man undergoing heart surgery while experiencing a phenomenon called “anesthetic awareness,” which leaves him awake but paralyzed throughout the operation. Next up… “P2” which apparently takes place entirely in a parking garage, kinda like that episode of Seinfeld. The quick and dirty plot outline of P2 starts as a young business woman works late and finds herself being tapped in her office building and being stocked by a nutso security guard. “Jumper” is a sci-fi flick that plays a bit on the success of Heroes. Basically, some dude realizes that a genetic anomaly allows him to teleport anywhere he wants to go. He discovers this gift has existed for centuries and finds himself in a war that has been raging for thousands of years between “Jumpers” and those who have sworn to kill them. “Before The Devil Knows Your Dead” is a suspense thriller about a family facing the worst enemy of all — itself. Andy, an overextended broker who lures his younger brother, Hank (Ethan Hawke), into a larcenous scheme: the pair will rob a suburban mom-and-pop jewelry store that appears to be the quintessential easy target. The problem is, the store owners are Andy and Hank’s actual mom and pop and, when the seemingly perfect crime goes awry, the damage lands right at their doorstep. “27 Dresses” is one for all the ladies… and guys that will be forced to see it along with them. This is your typical chick flick starring Katherine Heigl from Knocked Up and Greys Anatomy. “After serving as a bridesmaid 27 times, a young woman (Heigl) wrestles with the idea of standing by her sister’s side as her sibling marries the man she’s secretly in love with.” Check out the latest 27 Dresses trailer here.
