Oasis is back in the studio laying down tracks for their seventh full length album according to Spinner.com who recently interviewed front man Liam Gallagher. “We’ve got like 8 songs wrote. I think they’re f***ing great,” Liam told Spinner. “We’ve just gotta make sure we write the right record and so we’re sort of just picking at these songs and sort of amplifying them a bit more. We’ve got off to a good start. There’s not one acoustic song on it — it’s all f***ing rocking.” Hopefully this time around Liam and brother Noel Gallagher can put their differences aside long enough to make it happen. Judging by Spinner’s interview, everything is running smooth and looking good for a 2008 release. Oasis’ last album “Don’t Believe the Truth” produced by Dave Sardy was released in 2005 and according to Liam, the band is standing by Dave to help them with this album as well. “He’s top man. I like him,” Liam said of the producer. “We’re all on the same page. We’re all having a laugh and it’s going really easy. We’re not having any struggle with any sounds or anything. Touch wood it remains like that.” Head over to Spinner.com for the full article.
