hd.jpgThe Blu-ray/HD DVD war has almost come to an end in a matter of the last two weeks. The first hit was thrown at HD DVD when Warner suddenly decided to switch exclusively to Blu-ray late last week. This was a major blow considering 70 percent of movies being released for purchase is controlled by Warner. After this news, HD DVD canceled several seminars that they had planned at CES this week. And now to top it all off, The Financial Times is reporting that Paramount actually has a clause in their contract with HD DVD that allows them to jump ship if Warner suddenly decides to go with Blu-ray, which they did. Sorry HD-DVD but that really had to hurt.
