The 2009 Volkswagen Scirocco is actually set to debut in the Geneva auto show this week, but thanks to the internet, the entire set of press release images has been leaked. As a VW fan, I am very saddened to hear the the new Scirocco will never hit stateside (which I think is a very bad business decision by VW), but none the less, the pictures are nice to look at. Exterior concept shots of the Scirocco surfaced what seems like years ago, but we can now finally see what the real deal is going to look like. Along with the pics, the German teaser-site launched last week as well containing just enough info to get consumers interested. No hardcore information (spec wise) has been released about the new Scirocco, but you can bet on something very comparable to the GTI and R32.
