The brand new "Dark Knight" trailer hit movie theaters this weekend and it was only a matter of time before it made it to the web. Just in case you don't know, "The Dark Knight" is the follow up to Batman Begins starring Christian Bale as Batman. Jackass is back yet again for more punishment in ways that you never thought possible. Surprisingly this isn't going to be Jackass 3 and it will never hit a theater near you. This time around, Noxville, Steve, Bam and the rest of the guys will be hitting the web FREE of charge in Jackass 2.5 presented by Blockbuster and MTV Networks. Starting December 19th, simply log on to blockbuster.jackassworld.com to see Jackass 2.5 in all its glory. This is a major step in the right direction for a major movie studio offering an alternative method to delivering content. Granted, Jackass 2.5 was never intended for theaters and primarily consists of never seen footage and stunts from Jackass 2, but none the less I like the idea that big companies are starting to jump into the web. The first National Treasure movie was great for entertainment value in the least, but will the latest edition to the new franchise due in theaters on December 21st hold up to the hype? Kicking off the roundup this week is the brand new trailer for "Cloverfield" formerly known only as 01-18-08 which is the actual release date for the film. Cloverfield is J. J. Abrams latest attempt to warp reality on the silver screen, and judging from the trailer he has achieved his goal. Simply put, Cloverfield is a monster movie, set in none other than New York City. The film follows a group of people shot in a reality-esk style as they try to stay alive during an attack on the city from something definitely not from this world. But, after watching the trailer a few times and glancing at the movie poster (right), I am expecting another Godzilla remake. You will find the latest "Cloverfield" trailer here. Next up "I Am Legend" starring Will Smith. "Robert Neville (Will Smith) is a brilliant scientist, but even he could not contain the terrible virus that was unstoppable, incurable...and manmade. This week we have 7 great new movie trailers for your viewing pleasure. Starting off the list this week is a movie called "Slipstream" written, directed by and starring A. Hopkins. Slipstream is a surreal tale of one man’s journey into a vortex where reality and dreams collide. Check out the latest "Slipstream" trailer here. "Awake", starring Jessica Alba (need I say more) is a psych thriller that tells the story of a man undergoing heart surgery while experiencing a phenomenon called "anesthetic awareness," which leaves him awake but paralyzed throughout the operation. The moment we have all been waiting for since the last five minutes of Harold & Kumar go to White Castle has finally come. Harold & Kumar 2, officially named "Escape from Guantanamo Bay" will hit theaters in April 2008. This time around Harold and Kumar get lost on another meandering, pot-tastic quest, this time to Amsterdam, this time trailed by feds who think they're terrorists all in the chase of that hot chick from the first flick. To put a cherry on top of it all, Neil Patrick Harris makes his way back for yet another cameo. Steven King books never seem to translate very well to the silver screen, but "The Mist" looks promising. Basically, a local experiment goes wrong and a small town community comes under a vicious attack from creatures prowling in a thick and unnatural mist. Check out the latest trailer for "The Mist" here. Next up... What will it sound like when you die? In "One Missed Call", a chain of people receive terrifying cell phone messages of their own final fatal moments. If you are looking for something animated, "I am Legend, Awakening" might work for you, but this is definitely not a kids movie. A deadly virus has taken hold of the world - rejected by a few (the immune), killing many (the dead), and leaving the rest (the infected) - who live on to hunt the living, after dark. Vince Vaughn and Paul Giamatti together in one movie is bound to be good for at least a few laughs. Fred Claus has lived almost his entire life in his little brother's very large shadow. Fred tried, but he could never live up to the example set by the younger Nicholas, who was just a perfect...well...Saint. Check out the latest ...

The fourth edition of the Saw franchise is hitting theaters on the 26th of this month with a whole new collection of torturous devices just in time for Halloween. Check out the latest Saw IV trailer here. If Saw doesn't quench your thirst for blood and gore this month, check out a new vampire flick called "30 Days of Night". On the lighter side of entertainment, Jerry Seinfeld's new animated project called "Bee Movie" is out November 2nd. Jack Black is always good for a laugh or two but you will have to wait until January for his new comedy called "Be Kind Rewind". "We Own The Night" is a new crime/gangster flick with Mark Wahlberg that looks promising and is out in theaters next week (October 12th). We all love the video game, but I'm a little unsure about how Hitman will translate on to the big screen. Either way, check out the latest Hitman Movie trailer here.
