Peter Berg's geopolitical thriller "The Kingdom" is a blockbuster that is a little late for summer but is probably your best bet for some action in the theaters this weekend. Jamie Foxx just can't lose on the silver screen these days and it will be interesting to see how he does in a more action oriented roll this time around. The plot of "The Kingdom" is set around a terrorist bombing of an American compound within The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Hundreds of Americans are killed during the incident and Ronald Fleury (Foxx) leads a team of FBI counter-terrorism agents to investigate the attack. Long story short, you have ultra cool Jamie Foxx, ultra sexy Jennifer Garner (boy I miss Alias), funny man Jason Bateman and a few others melding together to create an action packed, suspenseful, dramaish yet sometimes comedic and political Fall hit movie. Finally... the next Indiana Jones flick starring none other than Shila LaBeouf (Transformers leading guy) and Harrison Ford (Indie him self) gets a name. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull will be released to theaters Memorial Day of 2008.
